About the platform
Novasyne Neutralize
Reading the emotion in text, mapping it to the brain, and rewriting it to read calm and clear, grounded in peer-reviewed neuroscience.
Novasyne is a research-driven technology company based in Brisbane, Australia, working at the intersection of neuroscience, mental health and artificial intelligence.
Neutralize is our platform for understanding the emotional signal in everyday language. It reads any message, an email, a chat, or text drafted by an AI, and scores it across seven core emotions: anger, fear, sadness, joy, disgust, surprise and neutral. Alongside the emotion it flags low-mood language and machine-sounding phrasing, then rewrites the text to read calm and neutral while keeping your original meaning intact.
What sets Neutralize apart is its interpretation layer. Each detected emotion is mapped to the cortical and limbic brain regions that published research associates with it, turning an abstract score into a picture you can actually see. That brain-region mapping is built on the methodology in our peer-reviewed manuscript, Decoding Neural Emotion Patterns from Text, so every result is measured against validated emotion and mood models rather than guesswork.
We believe cutting-edge research should translate into tools people can actually use, and that innovation should be inclusive. We are committed to keeping Neutralize accessible to disadvantaged communities and developing nations at low or no cost wherever possible, so the benefits of neuroscience and AI reach beyond borders and economic barriers.
Grounded in the literature
Every emotion score and brain-region map traces back to validated models and peer-reviewed methodology.
Calmer, not different
Neutralization softens the tone of your text without changing what you actually mean to say.
Your words stay yours
Text is analysed to give you a result, not to build a profile of you.
Accessible worldwide
We keep the platform low-cost or free for the communities that need it most.
